Blue Ridge Christian Academy - This is a private school, founded in 2004. It serves K-4 through 10th grade and is adding a new grade each year with 200 students projected for the 2008-2009 school year. They are located just a few miles south of the Hwy 11 and Hwy 101 intersection and have a spectacular view of Glassy from the campus.

Public

Tigerville Elementary - A public elementary school located near the campus of North Greenville College. A new facility was completed for the 2005-2006 school year.

Mountain View Elementary - While the address is officially Taylors, SC, this elementary school is just south of Tigerville, SC.

Blue Ridge Middle - Serving grades 6 through 8 in a facility that was renovated in 2002.

Blue Ridge High - Serving grades 9 through 12 in a facility that was built in 1986.

Colleges and Universities

North Greenville Univeristy - Located a few miles south-west of Glassy, is a four year Christian university that was chartered in 1934.

Furman University - A private liberal arts university that was founded in 1826 and is located just south of Travelers Rest, SC.
