  1. If anyone has information on a John Anders and Nancy Lindsey Anders who were said to be from the Glassy Mountain area in 1800s it would be greatly appreciated .

  2. I am a great, great, great granddaughter of Hannah Honor Gunter, does anyone know where her grave is located. She is from Glassy Mountain?

  3. This is the 4th day of June 2022.
    My father Lee Howard son of William Joshua Howard Rev. His father and mother’s name was Isaac Decatur Howard and Caroline (Lindsey)Howard .
    Isaac was born in 1860 and died in 1937.
    His father’s name was Jefferson D Howard born in 1832 died in 1924.
    My father told me that he believed that
    one of them were the owner of this mountain before the Plumley’s were.
    He also said that the Federal Government took it for back Taxes.
    I know that there address was 1900
    Glassy Mountain Township. at 1920
    Highland S.C.This was Rev.Joshua Howard’s address. I know that some of my folks are buried at the Church up there. Lindsey and Howard’s are buried there. I haven’t heard of any Anders that were there. My name is Donald Lee Howard if someone wants to get in touch with me. My phone number is

    My name is Steve Lindsay & I represent Lindsey DNA Group 11. My ancestors lived on Glassy Mtn., with the Howards.
    Here is a lot of info for you about the Howard family. I cannot verify if all is accurate, though.
    My 4th ggfather, George Lindsey, owned 668 acres on the mountain, which included the cemetery & much of the golf course.
